There is occasionally a lot of stink about the shirts at T-Shirt Hell.  Yes they are rude.  Yes they are likely inappropriate for, well, anything...  but there is no reason you shouldn't be rude now and again.

Why rude T-shirts aren't a step toward the complete downfall of society and you should wear one...

1. They prevent people from wasting time being polite to you.
2. You don't want to die without embarrassing your friends and family at least once do you?
3. It will flush out the small minded, intolerant and those who can't take a joke.
4. If you can't wear rude t-shirts then the middle-school vice principals have really won haven't they?
5. They let you express who you are without requiring pesky words or thinking...
6. Crime scene photos of your murder will be hilarious.
7. The Supreme Court has upheld your right to state Jerry Fallwell has sex with his mother - and you're squandering it.
8. If you never upset anyone you are living the least common denominator of life.
9. Many people will hate you for no good reason anyway.

Look for yourself.  Feel free to guess which shirts I would never be seen next to someone wearing - and which I have...

On a serious note - it's important to protect speech at the uncomfortable edges.  That's where the battles are waged.  When we talk things out the best ideas win.  When ideas are suppressed their given some sort of mystery and credibility that makes them more powerful then if we just mocked them to their faces.
